Who am I?
My name is Josephine, but everyone calls me Jo.  I was born in Croatia and moved to Melbourne when I was five years old with my parents.  For me personally, the saddest part was leaving my beautiful grandmother behind, as she was my rock.  I saw her for the last time when I was fifteen and our last conversation is still very clear in my mind today.  Our conversations were not just about the weather, but much more, I was born with a unique gift, and like her my mind was curious to learn.

I am an empath and one who challenges and motivates my clients to push themselves beyond their limits of expectation, while teaching the importance of a healthy lifestyle.  Teaching my clients to embrace their bodies is very important to me, as I do not judge but I simply find what each client likes and what tools they need in order to get their goal and maintain it for life.

My dream has always been to make the weak strong, the unheard loud, the unseen visible and to help every person I meet become comfortable in their own skin.

Why Holistic Wellness Coaching?
As a young girl I had a vision to carve my destiny in the health, wellness and fitness industry and help people feel better about themselves. Embracing my spiritual empowerment, visions, reading people’s auras and chakras, I embarked on a mission. Through this, holistic wellness was born. The passion behind my project is through my own struggles of traumas, abuse as a child – physically and mentally by my parents and also dealing with their alcoholism each day, and later on in life by my ex-husband. Finding ways to heal all of this on my own as a single parent was tough.  I was in debt left by my ex-husband and had to start from scratch after my divorce.  In all of this mayhem, with my two beautiful daughters by my side, I attended courses to not only heal myself but also to expand the gift I had, which I knew would help me and many others in time to come.

Taking this a notch further I studied like crazy during the lockdown periods in Melbourne, to become a Mental Health and Body Image Coach.  I pushed through all of these boundaries, as my desire and passion was so strong.  I believe the greatest gift I could give is to help others to realise their own self-worth, to gain self-confidence, to love their bodies and raise awareness for mental health and any invisible illness they have been carrying.

Personally I believe transformation takes place when we unlock the power of who we are, when we live with true intention, when we are real and authentic and create long lasting ripples of positive change. I had a strong vision to make a range of teas that not only taste good, but as part of my holistic wellness coaching, purify the body and sharpen the mind.  Holistic wellness encompasses all aspects of health – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.

To change your life, you need to be ready, to re-build your self-confidence, to connect with your true self, to deal with the root causes and to be comfortable from the inside out, hence this project I am embarking on will assist my clients in their daily life.

My mission with my teas is to promote a healthy lifestyle through the healing power of tea. This in turn will empower, promote confidence, and heal the root cause of energetic weaknesses and imbalances on all levels. Everyone has the freedom to choose a healthier life, one full of energy and joy. My mission is to make a difference in this world.

My project:
Through my visions I have created four teas and given them a name that I feel suits. All of my teas are hand blended with loose organic botanical ingredients sourced from farmers who have worked for generations and generations perfecting their plants from the planting of a seed.

My teas are not just for the comfort of a warm cup of tasty tea, but also provides a host of benefits for the mind, body and soul!

Tea is more than just a liquid in a cup.  It is a sensory experience that combines sight, smell, touch and taste.

Tea is now extremely popular and it has transformed from the black tea that we drank in the past, to herbal teas with many health and healing properties.  You could say tea has and still is undergoing a bit of a renaissance and more people in the community are drinking tea.

Depending on what type of tea you drink, it has significant health benefits and can be considered as a superfood full of abundant antioxidants.

The funds raised from my campaign will:
The funds raised from my campaign will cover the following:

• Consultation with the selected tea supplier in Melbourne.
• Cost of covering three different versions of the four teas to be hand blended and sampled by current clients, friends and myself.
• Once the samples are accepted, the cost of preparation of all four tea blends, cost of packaging into 3kg bags and shipping to my business.
• Cost of purchasing smaller bags and dividing the teas, printing of labels and then shipping of the packaging and labels to my business and in turn shipping of the final package to businesses (for example Fernwood Fusion Mordialloc) – Women’s only studio.

Names of teas:
Confidence – suitable for anxiety, stress and physical clarity.
Grounded – suitable for nervousness and grounding.
Calm – suitable for digestive issues and to relax the mind, body and soul.
Mind   – suitable for mental clarity and when you are feeling sluggish (pick me up).

All teas will be loose (not bagged tea), and will be hand-blended in Melbourne every week to ensure the tea is fresh and vibrant.
