As a victim survivor, a mother of a daughter, an advocate for Children, and a woman who wants to leave a legacy to cease violence against women and children…I created SUITABLE, a male teens guide to consent, knowing that we needed to cease putting bandaids on victims, and start the preventative process through education that was cool and conscious and truly impacting to young male minds.

As 97% of perpetrators are male, preventative measure are of the upmost importance to help young male teens understand that violence is a learned behaviour and they are valued just because of who they are. This issue of non-consent affects everyone and has long lasting effects not just for the victim but also the male who in retrospect realises what he’s done. No child deserves a future like that…so I intend to build an education academy that can future proof the next generation.

PRIMER – MEET THE SURVIVORS RESHAPING THE SYSTEM

Although I have been a voice bringing awareness to areas in desperate need of reform for many years, it was only a few months ago that I released my own story along with eight other heroic survivors. The key alarm has always been many victims of abuse were shamed into silence. Today, more and more victim-survivors are not only speaking out, they’re lobbying politicians and changing laws.

My vision and passion to change the landscape of consent awareness, is for every race and every family in Australia….and potentially beyond.
