Overview

IDEACLIP is an app-based Social Collaboration Platform bringing individuals, businesses and charities in one loop to create a positive social impact. Consumers share their fan insights with their favourite brands and businesses to help them cut down on their ‘waste’ in product/service innovation. In return for their validated fan insights, customers become instant authors of their ideas and get rewarded by e-gifts such as a late from their local cafe or a discount voucher from major brands. Customers also get to donate e-gifts/rewards to a charity of their choice.

The app is currently undergoing internal testing to eliminate any bugs and errors. It will be ready for public in late September. Once the MVP (although it has gone way past its MVP phase now), it needs to build back-end API rewarding system to enable small businesses to set up their own rewarding system utilising their readily available inventory (e.g. a late, muffin, T-shirt, 10% disccount, etc.). The back-end rewarding system will be used to show appreciation to the loyal customers sharing their fan insights, and such loyalist would act as community advocates boosting the local economy.

PROBLEMS IDEACLIP is solving:

1) SMEs (small to medium enterprises) depend on Tech Giants for customer acquisition.

2) SMEs live or die by Online Reviews.

3) Digital Spending by SMEs does not bring ROI (return on investment).

Solutions IDEACLIP proposes to the PROBLEMS:

1) Customers become Community Advocates resulting in ‘Network Effects’. Thus, less reliance on tech giants and more organic growth driven by local customers.

2) Customers get incentivised for sharing ‘fan insights’ with local businesses. Also, customers become instant author of their ideas once the ideas get validated by other collabers and are implemented by the business. This encourages ‘Constructive, Data Rich Feedback’.

3) Super-targeted marketing stops SMEs from being drowned in the flood of info. in Social Media, hence resulting ROI.
