AtOne is Australia’s first virtual reality meditation solution that targets stress and anxiety. Content is developed by all all Australian musicians and developers. AtOne helps with emotional regulation and training the mind towards more positive thoughts and lifestyle choices (via neuroplasticity).The multi-sensory approach of visual, auditory and olfactory takes people into a relaxed space faster and the individual and group reporting enables users to measure and track their results.
AtOne has been a product only sold to businesses until now and now we want to address the larger mental health problem in Australia by making AtOne accessible to consumers & developing content with some of Australia’s indigenous communities in their languages and this funding will enable us to make AtOne accessible on the Oculus App Lab store and potentially Playstation which will access many children who are suffering from anxiety and stress to help them learn and create a habit of meditation .
There are 970 million people living with mental disorders in the world- 52.4% females and 47.6% males which is 13% of the global population living with mental disorders and it is under-resourced with only 2% of health budgets going towards mental health
We need to start to build our own mental fitness and resilience to help fight this worldwide problem. Meditation is a proven methodology to reduce the symptoms of stress, improve focus, memory and build long-term resilience.
One in five Aussies suffer from a mental health condition and 1 in 3 women suffer from anxiety in their lifetime. This project is to enable us to do a consumer launch and funds will go towards website and marketing costs as well as contributing to some of the back end development.
AtOne is different to other meditation solutions as we use sight, sound and smell to help shift the brain into a relaxed space and more positive mindset and provide online reporting and online resilience tips. We measure and track 5 areas of mind fitness in our individual and group reporting including recovery (heart rate), focus, clarity, engagement and emotions.
