Australia Overview
At Aussie Kids Car Seat Installation and Safety I aim to raise awareness, educate and provide instruction for parents and care providers in the importance of child restraint use in cars particularly in rural and remote areas of Far North Queensland. 64 children were tragically killed in transport incidents between June 2020 and June 2021. The aim is to reduce fatalities and reduce the occurrence of life limiting injuries due to the lack of or the inappropriate use of child restraints. In 2021, no child should be put at risk of death or severe injury because of their geographic area or their socioeconomic status.
I would love to develop education programmes and sponsorship based programs to provide child restraints and installations for those who currently don’t use them, don’t have access to them, or don’t know how to use them properly.

AKCSIS will purchase a brand new child restraint, install it and provide training to parents and care providers on the safest and most effective ways to use the seat(s).
