Our Story
In May of 2019, my husband and I lost our first pregnancy to miscarriage. It was sudden and we were completely unprepared like every couple who has experienced this loss.

Over 100,000 couples every year in Australia experience a miscarriage or pregnancy loss and recent survey shows that 75% of women feel unsupported during this time of grief. Studies also show that 20% of women suffer from PTSD nine months after a miscarriage.
We want to provide relief and support for these couples through our Care and Support packages. There are existing organisations that provide peer support, bereavement counselling and 24/7 helplines for men and women however, none provide any pain relief or other sources of relaxation. It is clear that in most cases, the friends and family of bereaved parents don’t know how to provide care or support for the bereaved couple and the subject of loss and grief is not addressed.

We endeavour to educate and empower friends, family, and the community on how to have a conservation about grief and support the bereaved parents through action.
We want to share the grief, provide much needed comfort and break the stigma and silence that surrounds miscarriage and pregnancy loss through advocacy.
Care Packages
Our mission is the donation of care and support packages to hospitals and clinics, developed by the bereaved parents community.
Our packages support local and small businesses around Australia through the use of their products that provide care and pain relief for bereaved women and their partner.
These products include tea, wheat bags, candles, aromatherapy and sympathy cards. Keepsakes such as handcrafted/crocheted pieces give a sense of closure and are items that provide physical comfort. The packages also include information of services and counseling from other organisations that provide care and support for this community.

Remembering Peanut
Our little Peanut, who passed at 9 weeks, is the inspiration for this organisation. No one should go through this alone and friends and family should feel empowered to support bereaved couples.
