Bras are personal, hard to buy and expensive. Having 1 good bra that makes you feel good is the same as having a good pillow that helps you sleep well. Buying multiples doesn’t make all that much sense. So why not have 1 great bra and just change the look and colour when you need to?!
The concept of changing the look of something that is personal, hard to buy and expensive is not new.
Creating that for something as essential as a good bra is.
Bra skins are are thin skins that simply change the look and colour of your bra like a pillow case changes the look and colour of you favourite pillow. The difference is that bra skins have been developed to hug your bra in all the right places. Now, the undergarment you need is transformed into a beautiful garment that you can show off.
Peekabras bra skins are thin, soft, durable bra skins that change the look and colour of your bra just like a pillowcase does for a pillow. Having your favourite bra that makes you feel good is the same as having a great pillow that helps you sleep well. Buying multiples doesn’t make that much sense. So why not have 1 great bra and just change the look and colour when you need to?
About the Inventor
Hi! My name is Ashley and I’m the inventor of Peek A Bras. I’ve been a classical dancer since the age of 5. My life is all about movement. Creating art and unique visual experiences for millions of people around the world means I have a unique perspective and understanding of clothing and place the highest importance on how it moves with you. Being expressive, spontaneous, colourful and fashion forward means fashion choices are made based on how well I could move in the garment. Finding the right undergarments to compliment the way I moved proved impossible.
The Problem
I was always pulling or repositioning my clothes to hide my bra. When I tried alternatives like sports bras I found the shape of my body changed and the aesthetic was simply not good enough for the lovely clothes I wanted to wear.I was frustrated. I had a nice wardrobe but couldn’t wear any of it. I couldn’t find the right bra! But then I thought, why change the bra? I love my bra. Just change the skins instead! That was how Peek a Bras came about.
Just like me, many women want to look good but find bras hard to buy and extremely personal. Bras are expensive and definitely not fashion friendly. When you find your favourite bra that offers great support and shape, why change it? Change the skins to fit with your outfit instead!
As a global choreographer creating a complete picture means everything to me. My outfit from head to toe tells a story and with bra skins the story is always complete. From the look, comfort and support to the absolute freedom to move without worry, bra skins are the answer to living my best fashion life.

Bra skins give bra wearers an enormous amount of fashion freedom by transforming their bra into the most versatile fashion accessory they own. Peekabras makes bra wearing fashionable for everyday life.
Peekabra protects expensive bras from wear and tear. It transforms an undergarment into a fashion garment. It conceals all metal, clasps and any wear and tear on the bra. It offers 360 degree guaranteed bra coverage. It prevents fallout from loose breast tissue. Its smooth material allows any material to flow over the top effortlessly. It comes in a range of colour and designs not available in bras or other layering options. And makes bra wearing comfortable.
Peekabras is sustainably run and all manufacturing partners hold the highest social and environmental standards certificates. Our product uses recycled material and with your help will be full circle recycled by March 2022.
Crowdfunding
The bra skin is such an exciting product; but it’s uniqueness means that we also have unique challenges that are exclusive to true inventions.
*Our manufacturing setup costs and MOQ’s are much higher than other products because the patterns, combined technology and execution of our bra skins is completely new and only setup for us.
*Due to factory closures we have not had new product for 6 months which means we have had to continually fund our company ourselves without the ability to sell more bra skins after selling out in February.
* All money made in February was used to put deposits on 2 future shipments. We need to money to pay for the 70% remaining cost of both shipments in order to avoid delays in having product due to covid and the global shipping crisis.

SMETA is Sedex’s social auditing methodology, enabling businesses to assess their sites and suppliers to understand working conditions in their supply chain. A social audit is one of the best ways to understand the working conditions at a supplier site. An auditor physically attends the site – or workplace – of a business, enabling the auditor to assess the conditions on the ground.
Not only do we care who we directly employ, but we also care who they employ and source their materials and labour from. A BSCI Audit helps all involved businesses monitor their supply chain to ensure they are treating their workers ethically while adhering to all laws not only within their region but to a globally accepted standard.
