Missing Perspectives is a media tech company that’s filling the gap in young female storytelling across news and entertainment.

We started with a global newsroom that delivers original news and content for women. It now reaches up to 1.5 million people in over 120 countries.

The social impact we drive is real—and is widely recognised, resulting in milestones like a multi-year partnership with MECCA and Google.

We’re stepping up our efforts with a tech product. As a first-of-its-kind SaaS solution, our app connects young female reporters and content creators with leading newsrooms.

Missing Perspectives Directory, a Google-funded app

Our app was designed to help close the gender gap in news and entertainment—and was funded by Google and a US-based Impact Fund.

Through the app, leading newsrooms around the world can seamlessly filter and book young female reporters and content creators.

The Directory will be launching across Australia and North America in May 2024.

We want to fundamentally change the news and media industry—and centre young female reporters and content creators in a traditionally male-dominated space.
