Everything you need to know about funding your startup

Find the Right Funding!

Join One Roof’s “Start Up Women’s Summit”

It is well known and documented that women receive less than 3% of VC funding worldwide. It is a pathetic statistic and one that isn’t changing fast. We want to share the ins and outs so that we can speed up the funding process, increase this dismal number and offer women founders alternative funding options so they put their energy and effort into the best and most strategic funding approaches for their startups. Our panellists will share:

  • Their process to finding the right investors who provide more than just capital and building a strategic network

  • How they negotiated valuations and terms that are favourable to them

  • Successful equity crowdfunding campaigns

  • Other forms of investment beyond VC funding including

  • Some of the biggest mistakes they have made and most important lessons learnt

  • How to bootstrap and the value of bootstrapping for as long as possible

At the conclusion of the 1-hour panel event all attendees will have an opportunity to join one break out room for 30min to talk, connect and ask questions to our guest speakers who are all funders and experts in raising various forms of capital. We have speakers from a range of firms including LaunchVic, Giant Leap Fund, Blackbird, Tidal VC, Antler, CFO Worx and Lift Women.
