Hi! My name is Stephanie Robinson, a pandemic bride-to-be based on the beautiful Gold Coast! My fiancé Cameron, proposed to me on our 6 week around Europe trip in July 2019 and ever since I have fallen in love with wedding planning, despite the challenges faced by the Covid-19 pandemic!

I have a passion for event planning and organisation, which has been fuelled by being involved in my friends’ weddings and of course planning my own! As we all know, Covid-19 has thrown us all a curve ball (or two!) and I have been absolutely inspired by the determination, patience and resilience of my dear friends who have so positively adapted to the ever changing Covid-19 space to go on and have their dream weddings.

When I began my wedding planning journey it took me a really long time to decide what platforms I was going to use to plan our special day. I wanted the luxe feel of a hard back, white linen covered wedding journal but also wanted the versatility of an Excel spreadsheet, combined with formulas that would help me with budgeting. On the market there were some beautiful wedding planners, but not all of the sections applied to our day and wasn’t very customisable (and would have to use a calculator to tally budgets!) whose cost seemed like a big investment! Alternatively, there were some online options, but again, not finding that right balance of luxe feel and customisation ability. So I went to work on an Excel spreadsheet that has been slowly developed over a period of about 2 years, until I had something that was just right for us. Now my wedding is (mostly) planned, after a copy and paste of date and year (thanks Covid!) I see an opportunity for this tool to help so many other couples!

Our Mission!
Is to empower other couples to plan their weddings their way, and provide them with the tools they need to take the stress out of wedding planning so that they can enjoy the ride! We aim to do this by providing a luxe and customisable digital wedding planner that acknowledges relationship diversity and all styles of weddings! If successful we wish to use the start up money to support other women in business in Australia and outsource marketing and digital services to get this project off the ground.

Why lovelore?
Because wedding planning is crazy enough with files and notes everywhere, pictures saved in all sorts of interesting places, quotes scattered throughout email inboxes and a calendar covered in pen scribble of payment due dates and appointments not to mention the added stress of the pandemic! The lovelore digital wedding planner will provide a digital hub for brides and grooms to store all of their wedding details in one place, keep track of their budget, save quote and payment information and even set up reminders so that you never miss a vendor payment! All of these things can be taken care of for you, in a place that is accessible wherever you go – in your pocket, on your smart device! So you can focus more on enjoying your engagement and making the fun decisions!

Here’s the pitch!
A monthly subscription fee, with no lock in contracts. So as soon as your wedding is over you can cancel your subscription at any time with no penalty or conditions! This subscription will give users access to:

• An account with the lovelore digital wedding planner and all of its features including:
  • budget calculator
  • in depth planning page which will help to keep your budget and to do list on track
  • to do checklist and day of timetable templates
  • calendar and payment schedule featuring push notifications for upcoming payments
  • a notes and design section to store all of your inspiration!

How can we start?
Through support of the lovelore project through crowdfunding via the liftwomen.com platform and/or entry into the Female Founders Grant would really help us get the digital wedding planner up and running! For such a high level of customisation, a complex website set up with flawless graphic design is needed – which comes at a cost (estimated between $7000-$10,000!)
