INTRODUCTION
Why am I doing this?
For me, this is the realisation of a passion project. As an avid gamer and theme park fan, this is the culmination of a personal dream project that I want to spend the rest of my life doing. Along with helping myself and make my company into a long lasting legacy, I also want to help others seek and achieve their passion projects also and will offer my time and services to club members to do so. Being an Autistic person hasn’t given me many options to succeed or achieve in the way current corporate conditions are. I have always been ostracised from it, not just for being a woman, but for also having a disability that people aren’t willing to try and understand or be open to, I know exactly what it feels like to be on the receiving end of constant discrimination, ignorance and bullying in the workplace. I felt that the only way I could do something was to go my own way and create my own pathway to success and achievement despite what setbacks I’ve had along the way thus far.
Where am I at now?
I’m currently at the stage where I need investment to move forward with the project. I am not a tech savvy person so I will need to hire developers to create the MVP for the game, which will most likely be a training or demonstration level, in order to get more funding to open the game to the market. I am currently working alone from the confines of a discretionary trust as it is cost effective for now and I have registered a company, Project Excelsior Pty Ltd, for the business side of things and have also registered an organisation, Excelsior Club, to handle any social and non profit activities outside of the company and trust. I’m fully aware that this is a large and complex project and what the work will entail and I’m thoroughly determined to get that work done, no matter what it takes. I have available documentation in the form of a business plan for the video game, and I have a pitch deck, but as these contain IP information, signing an NDA is necessary, I have included as much non-IP material as possible in the description information. I’m happy to answers any further questions people may have within reason and can be contacted at [email protected] expressly for that purpose.
What I want out of it?
While I currently work and study full time, I can do some of this work in my spare time, I do have the option of transferring over to do this full time, but I will need to have my wage/covered at a reasonable rate, not only to cover current living expenses, but also allow room for business expenses, travel, meetings, and any memberships that I may require, any persons I will need to hire to assist with the project and so forth as well. The currently pay rate for a first year CEO is around $2,500 per week according to payscale. I currently have between 6-12 months of work leave I can utilise for the transition before cutting my ties completely. And I wish to be free to work from home and communicate with developers without work or study getting in the way. To save costs, I intend on employing a membership with Wotso office spaces, who operate in my home LGA of Penrith as well as work from home where required. Wotso also have member options to be able to work in other areas of Sydney and interstate, and pending where I will need to travel, this will be beneficial for any in-person meetings or work. Their monthly membership is about $300-350 per month.
Where I’ve been?
For the last 20-25 years I have been working for Government Transport, currently Sydney Trains. It is a high stress and often changeable and chaotic environment, and is highly toxic on a social level, but I excel in that environment as I can multitask and work at a fast pace when I know what I’m doing and how to get the work done. If anything it has taught me about how not to run a company, about actually being responsible for all your employees and cultivating an ethical, negativity free and safe environment for everyone to succeed and achieve and retain them for ongoing employment as well as encourage/attract even more new employees for the long term. Over the last couple, of decades, I’ve also had a vested interest in studying psychology and have recently chosen to reinvest my time in new methods with various certifications and diplomas, which I intend to use via the company/club to assist employees and members. I believe these skills will also assist me in cultivating the heart based company I wish to build, utilising my counselling and coaching skills to assist others. I have have also completed various training courses in entrepreneurship, MBA essentials, business and business administration which I feel will also help towards my plans. During my work time, I have also become a union representative and health and safety officer and would utilise those skills under my company to help support the health, well-being and rights of my staff.
What about me?
I’m a 40 something Australian woman who identifies as being on the Autistic spectrum. Despite my disability, I’m a strong, independent, intuitive and intelligent woman, with a deep intensity and honesty that people often find intimidating. I’m loyal to a cause, as well as determined, ambitious and focused once I start on something or become interested in it, while I’m not inclined to give up on things, I’m open to adapt, step aside and rethink, face the challenges and change direction in order to get the work done. I am quite direct and blunt and have a low tolerance for ambiguity, dishonesty and outright BS, and I have no issues being upfront with others about it and telling them what’s on my mind and therefore putting some of them in their place. I am rather psychoanalytical and logical in my communication and often accurate when assessing others. I am honest, empathic, kind, fun-loving, adventurous and friendly but at the same time I’m responsible, resourceful, ethical, lawful, dutiful, I can problem solve, adapt and take charge when needed and will do the right thing even if others don’t.
PROJECTS
The Video Game
The video game is an action adventure/sci-fi RPG style game with elements taken from other classic RPG style games. It is targeted at ages 16 and over. It will be CGI based, preferably using the Unreal Engine 5 development platform, to allow for an open interactive environment. The platform for the game will be mobile, hosted by the developers, preferably an Australian company, as I want to support local development post pandemic to help reinvigorate the economy.
As the concept is integrated into my theme park development project, there is the option of having physical products that are represented in the game that could also be sold later in the theme park itself. The standard RPG items usually consist of dice, player handbooks/guides/manuals, trading/playing card games, models/figures and other related items and we can look into developing our own in reference to the game. The idea behind this merchandise would be that with certain items would have a code where it can be scanned in game and registered to that gamers accounts like special booster items, characters (from models and figures), trading cards (for special abilities, costumes, locations etc) and so forth. While the majority of common items could be made available in retail prior to the opening of the park to engage playability and collectability, there can be specific items that could only be obtained at the theme park itself, either by purchase on a retail level, or by gamers actively taking part in activities, games or special events exclusively within the theme park itself, which would drive more visitors into the park and therefore more revenue to the franchise.
While my main characters for the game are female, there will be 7 to start with and may expand to 12 later, I’m open to have my characters being in support non-playable character mode (NPC) roles until the gamer fulfils the requirements to unlock them and have them on their team. This could also double for having actors in costume to play these characters and host the special events for gamers in person at the theme park at a later stage, in some similar form to the game.
The gamer would start the game by either creating their own character or selecting a randomly made one from whatever items are available for new players at that stage. Access to certain design aspects can be opened by the player gradually, either through subscription, paying for limited edition items, completing certain levels/missions/areas and so forth through the game, where they would also be able to create new characters for themselves. The player would select their characters alignment, origin, class, type, function, special abilities and personality, and other common elements from RPG games to allow the player to represent themselves in the game if they so wish or create a completely different persona. The gamer would then take their character through game training and then be given the option to choose missions appropriate to their characters rank and experience and whatever items they are carrying that will be needed for those levels. As the gamer proceeds through the game increasing their rank and experience, more items, costumes, weapons and accessories will become available to them and greater responsibility will also be available, depending upon their rank, they can eventually lead teams, manage teams/groups, command sections and eventually run their base etc. Certain areas and levels will open up also as the gamer proceeds through the game. Whatever experience level their character is at, they will only be able to use items or complete missions at that level or below. The gamers will start with the main entrance/building of the theme park (in game) and if they have chosen to be a hero character, this will be their base of operations, they will either walk/run around the park or find transport in between the areas in order to find tokens and missions to do to proceed through the game. There will be an underground base under the entrance of the theme park where gamers can, to a degree, house characters they aren’t currently using, perform some training and upgrade functions, edit characters if available to do so, set defence and assign their characters to specific roles.
Gamers can choose from hero, villain or mercenary. The theme park will be the base for heroes to operate their activities from, protect civilians and defend from villainous attacks, to also find and defeat villains, as well as complete missions and potentially recruit other non affiliated players into heroes. Villains will have their own (non theme park) secret bases that they operate and complete missions from and will actively stop heroes or interfere with them and at the same time, fulfil their own agenda. Mercenaries are independent, and can be hired by or align with either side, but don’t really have a base and can also be recruited into being heroes or villains later. The choices and decisions that the gamer makes in the game will determine the outcome of their missions, who they are aligned with and how they’ll succeed and continue their gameplay. There is the option of developers creating other types of bases on a global format in order to expand the game at a later stage and allow current gamers to migrate to those bases in the countries where they actually live, and new gamers select those bases from the start (at that stage) or work to open them up through gameplay. This could also expand into starting bases/areas on other worlds or dimensions, region based tournaments and competitions for gamers, as well as the consideration for regional based items, characters, missions and weapons.
There is also an option for arena style tournaments at a later stage, for gamers to test the experience and skills of their character against other gamers and their characters, either individual or as a group. There will be different tiered leagues depending upon the rank of the gamer or the group. Prizes can be offered in the form of tokens or medals that gamers can trade for special items in the game shop or elsewhere.
As I’m fairly open about the structure in the areas of the game, this will give developers some freedom in terms of the missions and areas that can be opened by the gamer in a staggered fashion, as well as what can be added later. However I will still be creative director on the project before anything new can be approved so long as it is in line with the game concept and story.
Due to the openness and adaptability of the concept, this will also open the door for other franchises to be adapted into the game, pending deals with other companies and their products/characters. The concept can adapt any movie, book, TV or other established characters and their stories into the game along with their world and will have an added area that gamers can complete missions in and heighten their game experience. These characters and their worlds could be made available to subscription holders only or be available to purchase as special areas, and gamers can select which ones they like depending upon what they’re a fan of. It will add an extra level of unique playability to the game of fans of these other franchises that can play with their own favourite pop culture icons as well as expand the merchandise of the game. The focus would be on approaching other companies whose activities and capabilities would be beneficial to this project first, to establish deals and mutual agreements for both parties, pending if licensing is available.
Subscriptions will be available for gamers in the game, with different levels. i.e. bronze, silver, gold etc. The game itself will be free to download and allow free to play actions to a limited degree, but will be much slower for these free to play gamers. To get further and higher in the game, and quickly, you’ll need to spend, on resources, upgrades, weapons, items, unlock missions, levels and areas, and have access to subscription only characters and items. Registered subscribers will have early access to different degrees of all new content as well as play in their own unique leagues and tournaments. There is the option of having a tiered system for subscriptions at different monthly costs, either regular monthly payments, or individual time based/one off purchases. There will also be the option of Gamers joining the club or becoming a VIP member, as this is age appropriate, it is essentially an added way to filter out any person under 16 and monitor gamers. There is also the added option, that when the game starts up, early registrants and testers in the first 12 months, can stay on board when the game becomes fully active as official beta testers and be offered a higher subscription level than the other gamers, i.e. platinum.
Gamers who spend in the game will be given points to earn which will either contribute towards in game ranks, or will link to an external points redemption program for gamers to recoup real world items. Currently the idea is for every $10 spent, they will earn 1 point and anything less than that or incomplete, can show on their account under a decimal system, i.e. $5.99 can show as 0.599 towards 1 point.
At a later stage when the game characters are settled and more games are able to be created, based on the characters, concept or parts of the core story and main game, this will essentially cater to younger age groups but will be open to existing gamers as well, i.e. idle games, puzzles, fighting games, racing etc, existing gamers can register their account on these games, spend if they want and accrue more points, which they can use in any of the games. Points will be collected automatically on their game account, which will have to be the same in other games, and can be distributed in any game they use under that same account. Any points issues however will be followed up by myself, or my company/club staff in order to manage this system.
There will also need to be a points based reward/punishment system, which can be used in line with the club code of conduct system, as we would want to ensure the best possible environment for all players and lower the risk of any legal issues that may arise due to gamer conduct. I’ve experienced it first hand with some developers who show ethical irresponsibility and only be interested in making money and not take any responsibility for gamer conduct at all. I’ve been on the receiving end of bullying both from gamers and developers alike in other games and I will not be tolerating that here with my game, the better the gamer behaves, the more rewards they will get, simply put.
I am open to considering using Points Shop to host redemption of points, their costs range from $500-1000 per month and have a system to separate points systems if we wish to have different sections, i.e. for the club members, the gamers, the company employees etc.
Individual gamer ranks will be available, similar to those used by armed forces, ranging from Private to Colonel. General ranks will only be available for game developers and the owner/creator and perhaps beta testers. As an afterthought, if they have psychology certifications, then they can be utilised and permitted under the club as a compliance officer to help maintain conduct on any of our game forums and discussion areas and receive General 1 star as an incentive and also receive extra points for their volunteer work in that regard. The ranks will be available for gamers to achieve via trading points they’ve earned via spending. Ranks number to 12 and there are 12 levels within each, 144 all up. For each rank achieved, more privileges will open up in the game. Currently the idea for ranks stands at 1000 points for every rank, I do not want to make it easy for gamers to achieve these ranks and I feel this will encourage them to spend more. These ranks may not be transferable to the club, unless the gamer has successfully applied to become a VIP member and upranks via the club instead of through the game.
Each player will be given a unique account number in order to help them protect their account from hackers, theft, account sale/transfer etc. I will not be open to allow gamers to sell their accounts in any form, but I will allow them to transfer between devices or recover them with email registration and checking personal information. The same account can be used on any game we create so that gamers can recoup points earned from spending in any game we host. Essentially the gamers are rewarded for what they spend and are given back points in lieu of this spending, therefore negating any value of their actual account and therefore cannot sell it. There will have to be a rule explaining this and notifying gamers that sales of accounts will be banned. I find it unethical in a way as it gives new gamers an advantage that they have not earned in game play that everyone else has, and would essentially cost the game money and every new gamer should start playing the game the same way. Account numbers will need to be checked with the club to ensure that member numbers don’t conflict with gamer numbers, as individuals may become club members later or vice versa, these numbers can be checked or changed if and when a gamer applies for club VIP or registers for a game account.
Discord and Twitch are two platforms I am familiar with as I am a current gamer myself. Discord is used for forum like communities where developers can interact with the gamers directly to obtain feedback, suggestions and deal with game issues. I would rather use this than in game ‘global’ forums, because they can be more effectively monitored for negative/competitive behaviour that is often prevalent in gaming amongst gamers. Those with club or VIP memberships will be subject to that code of conduct alongside the game rules. Compliance officers can be volunteered from the club in order to earn extra points for their time and also assist in maintaining the game rules/gamer conduct of conduct in any forums the game hosts.
Twitch is a streaming platform that I’m also aware of, that is used by many game based platforms. It can be used for many things, present new game material, interviewing guests, discussing game issues, running competitions, even presenting material that gamers have created or submitted. I would be open to using this platform for game purposes.
The Theme Park
The concept is a combination of an adventure park, animal park and a water park. The adventure side of it will consist mainly of interactive adventure experiences like rides, games, side shows, activities, competitions for gamers, events etc. Animals and the water areas are self explanatory. With an animal park, there is an incentive to be able to collaborate with other animal conservation groups to help conserve endangered animals through breeding programs, help take in and rehabilitate sick and injured wildlife and potentially produce anti-venin for hospitals as well as provide interactive experiences and education for park visitors.
At this stage it is preferable for these three areas to be combined in order to blend areas and experiences in a way. But on the flip side, if they were split into three different park areas or separate businesses, it could allow for a staggered development as well as package deals for visitors at a later stage for more revenue or selected experiences for visitors.
The size of the park will range between 100 to 500 acres, with enough spare size to accommodate future expansion and any other affiliated projects. The land can either be purchased by the trust or leased out from a private owner/corporation or to my company for development.
The individual areas from the game can be integrated into the park for themed areas and experiences, with consideration, if required, to other franchises, if we create deals with them, for their own areas within the theme park.
The area is still under consideration but essentially will be situated in NSW with thought given to foot traffic, accessibility and access to public transport. And the potential for the park to hire or supply its own transport services to ticket holders from selected locations where visitors can then go on to catch public transport or other services.
The name of the park has not yet been considered, this will depend on what the video game ends up being named and whether the name will have to be different or supplemental to the concept.
There is the added idea of hosting a virtual or augmented reality system from within the park that can be linked to the game, where gamers can obtain theme park only items or products linked to the game. The augmented system can be park wide, attached to an app with a phone camera that could potential link to the existing game and the virtual system would need to be in a fixed area like an arcade or sideshow.
The Theme Park Precinct
The precinct will be a supplemental consideration in order to bring in visitors and keep them in the area to spend more, both before, during and after park hours. It will also allow for the organisation of park related events and packages that cannot be hosted inside the park, for the company or club, or for other outside businesses and companies wanting to host their own events and functions or business activities.
The intention is to have a district for hosting entertainment, food, accommodation and service businesses as well as convention, recreation and activity centres to supplement after hours availability and add to a visitors experience as well as provide much needed jobs for the surrounding community and support the local economy.
There is also a side idea to create residential housing as part of this particular project linked to club membership for purchase or rentals.
I currently have some minor design ideas for the layout of the area around the theme park entrance, including the park entrance area itself.
The Showground
This is further plan to have a physical place for the club to operate. I’m considering an area of about 25-50 acres, there is open consideration as to whether this will be next to the theme park or completely separate from it.
Apart from hosting various events on a daily or weekly basis, the showground can host various areas for standard showground buildings including stands, display pavilions, animals housing and yards, arenas etc. There is the option to run various businesses on site like camping/B&B accommodation, school or holiday camps for kids, recreational activities, markets, equestrian centre and activities, events for team building/groups/marriages/parties, paintball/obstacle courses, company/club training, working animal farm, animal rescue/rehab/rehome or boarding, fruit and veg greenhouses/orchards, winery/brewery areas, arts/crafts/pottery/smithing/wood turning shops, community skill and educational courses, multicultural days and fetes, volunteer work for club members, fundraising events etc.
There is the option of assisting employees and club members with startup projects they may have, hosting in various parts of the showground, to showcase their product, service etc, as well as the on-site businesses producing items for sale, providence or supply in the theme park itself.
Having the showground is also a good area to retire any domestic animals of the animal park to, retire old rides for minimal/lesser use, store old/spare equipment or conduct maintenance in an out of the way area, as well as try out new ideas/prototypes, gauge market interest and also supply fresh produce being grown or created for other businesses owned under the company.
There is the option to also run an annual show and competitions for club members /staff for social events and prizes and host company-centric events like awards nights for staff and club members. And also host certain areas/facilities for campers and temporary travellers for cheap accommodation.
The Showground can be held under the trust with a central administrative building (clubhouse) that can double as use for both the club and the company and for rental/guest use if need be.
The Clubhouse
The decision as to whether the club house will be on the grounds of the showground or not at this stage has not been made, but it would be better suited to being separate from the showgrounds but attached to it as an adjoining property.
The clubhouse will act as a minor function centre for club members only, hosting guest rooms, rooms for hire for meetings, training, activities as well as be capable of hosting events for gatherings or for business related activities for the company.
Any social activities can be combined with the clubhouse and showground for minor event experiences and earn money for the club/company as well as link to other company activities and businesses. The design of the clubhouse could also be patented and duplicated in other locations where the company expands at a later time and could function as a stand alone business apart from the showground, in various locations just for club members.
A full design is already available for the clubhouse.
The Academy
This is a future option to provide a private college specifically for children from pre school, through kindergarten, on to year 12 and possibly into mature age.
It would offer a standard curriculum as well as certain special subjects, designed to identify students with specific skills and aptitudes for going into work for or training directly for the company upon graduation from the school.
The intent would be to offer priority placement in the school to the children of club members. While it would be open to all people, the focus would be on maintaining club membership for those families and offer an ethically and established environment for learning and opportunities for the child to excel and succeed individually according to their inherent learning style. There could also be options to offer full or part scholarships for any children from underprivileged backgrounds who wish to later be involved with or employed under the company and its relevant businesses and affiliates.
Apart from all the programs that would also be available to underage persons under the club, the school would automatically provide all these programs for children and potentially have priority placement directly into the company where available and help to become a serving member of the Excelsior family and community.
The academy can also be linked to the showground and other company businesses to integrate with the school and expand services available for the children for their learning experiences.
ADMINISTRATION
The Company
I have already registered a Pty Ltd company. When I have adequate team members available to help assist with the creation of administrative policies and procedures or finances to hire someone to do these activities, I will do so. I am currently open to bringing other co-founders and executives on board where possible to also help assist with this. As a woman myself, I’d be more inclined to lean towards having women in these places of authority, but there will be a fair and honest system in place also.
There will be the intention to ensure all employees hired no matter their rank, be eligible for the club VIP status to ensure a better quality staff for the advancement of the company as well as help screen and assess potential candidates and give them access to any help or support services via the club if needed, so they will need to have police checks and working with children checks done as mandatory.
I have an idea about what departments I want to create, as well as a basic structure and the ethos and direction of the company long term. And I understand that I may have to start out with as little as having an operations, human resources and IT areas and can expand from there later on.
I intend on expanding this into the primary 12 departments I wish to have, with all departments being represented by different coloured trims on their uniforms and some differentiation between frontline staff, middle management and upper/executive management. The reason behind this is to form not only a basis for the departments, but also provide sections, where under the club on a yearly basis, department members can take part in team events to compete against each other to earn points, rewards and other prizes for themselves as employees of the company and representatives of the club, this can tie into yearly awards nights where employees or club members are honoured for their participation and efforts to excel and succeed.
I intend on linking the company to the club, in terms of employee eligibility and providing services for staff, but also to utilise a non profit arm to conduct certain services, like union/worker representation, health and safety committees, as well as compliance officers. As these will be managed by the club and be answerable to the club, it will create some distance and objectivity for these workers in regards to company influence. The club will also host all the relevant social events for the company on a non profit platform.
There is also the added idea to create and/or purchase businesses that would be useful to the company and also generate services that can be integrated into an all inclusive system for support of both staff and club members under the company, i.e. financial services, travel, pets, medical, real estate etc, as well as business for social activities, i.e. golf clubs, showgrounds, markets, bowling alleys, restaurants, entertainment venues etc.
Along with the three tiered conduct system I intend to use for the club, it will also be used for the company (see club description below) there would also be the added system for employees only. That if the individual was an employee and they got to the point of three strikes, that they would be removed from their current place of employment and blocked from returning to that location/position and placed elsewhere under the company, perhaps in another business, they have skills for but have never worked in. The system would then reset and they’d be then put on a second chance, if they reach the three strikes point again, it will then become a third chance and after that, full permanent termination.
Hopefully no one will ever get to that point as I would want to retain as many employees as possible for as long as I can, but at the same time provide them with avenues to help themselves improve, excel and succeed, not provide a platform or workplace for slackers and bludgers to try and get away with not doing their job or using their position to abuse, manipulate or influence others into a false sense of power, because that’s not how I want to run things. I want a clean, open and safe environment for all to be the best they can be, as well as help and support each other in the same manner.
This may seem idealistic to some but we’ve all seen what happens to those who are not responsible enough to maintain positive environments either under employment or via their products.
I will utilise a reward based Ambassador program for crowdfunding, donations and financial support to keep my project financed and moving forward. This system is in place instead of offering any equity from my company as I will not be offering any equity or shares to the public, as I wish to create a supportive community for all that they can benefit from and I don’t feel a share/equity based system will offer that. There will be five levels initially, bronze for $100, silver for $1000 , gold for $10,000, platinum for $100,000 and diamond for $1,000,000. Benefits for the Ambassadors will be offered under the club.
The Trust
I currently operate out of a single discretionary trust and the intention is to use this and/or create other trusts to hold assets of value apart from the company in order to protect these assets and finances from outside legal related influences that may effect the company. I am currently the sole trustee of this trust and I would be willing to extend my role in managing this or others.
The assets of the trust(s) can then be rented out to the company, club or individuals, maybe even prioritised for staff or club members for exclusive discounted services. Assets could range from general finances, artworks, vehicles, real estate, both commercial and residential, other items of value or collectability.
The Club
A club has been registered in order to carry out all non profit social and other activities. The intention is that the club will also reflect the ethos of the company and its related businesses and bring everyone together including employees, civilians and gamers under one roof for inclusivity and create a family community. The club will act as a non profit arm of the company and will be supported and run by it also.
The club is a social non profit platform that will act as a buffer between the company, civilians, employees and gamers, and the businesses and individuals that interact with it.
Membership will consist of general members, which will be cheap and open to everyone at $25 a year for adults and $15 for children and seniors. After about 12 months, general members will be able to apply for VIP membership. There will be tiered levels of membership in the VIP area, i.e. bronze, silver, gold and platinum (invite only) with increasing benefits and allowances with each advancing level starting from $50 a year. There will be extra elements in place to ensure that VIP status remains for selected individuals, as working with children and police checks will be required to filter better quality members. It will be mandatory for all company/trust/club staff employed under the company to be eligible for VIP status and if they fail to maintain this membership, it may affect their employment status. Ambassadors may also apply for VIP status at their own leisure.
As the VIP section will also handle registrations and permits, it will be essential for people to be eligible for this area. The purpose of the permits and registrations is to have assurances and transparency for members, to ensure scammers, frauds and con artists cannot operate from within the club or affect members through their activities. For example any person with certifications and licensing for any work related, business activity or personal skills, may apply for a permit with their documentation as proof of skill and once approved may seek activity to support their business or activities via the club, i.e. If your an accredited and licensed doctor, vet, psychologist, trades person for example, the club can assess your license to practice and offer you a badge/card as proof to show to other members and demonstrate the validity to your skills and therefore you can seek to advertise your services and obtain clients via the club, but also offer discounts to the members for your services. All outside businesses and organisations will require permits and registrations, not only to operate under the club, but also to advertise, in order to maintain transparency and reliability for members, and so will any animal or spiritual related activities in order to filter out unlawful, unproven or unethical activities. Domestic animal clubs I’ve found are rather toxic and often support only those who donate to their club rather than ethical or lawful activities, so all breeders, rescuers, foster carers and even animal owners will require registration through the club to ethically monitor animal related activities and businesses. The same can be said for spiritual activities. There is a big difference between saying something and demonstrating proof of training or certifications. These registration and permits are to protect members and create an environment of transparency, support and honesty within the club and its community. These registrations will also help the company and trust with whom they wish to work with and provide services for on an ethical and lawful level.
The club will act as a medium for all activities for membership. Company staff will only be eligible for committee member positions for a period of 12 months, as the club is non profit however, these positions will only be volunteer based and theie positions will be afforded set points for their time. These employee only roles are to ensure that the committee guides the club in the right direction under the ethos of the club’s vision.
There is an idea in place to allow all persons who volunteer their time or donate money to the club to be given points for their time and effort. Presently the idea stands at 1 point for every $10 donated or 1 hour volunteered. Employees will have their volunteer allowance capped to prevent fatigue issues, unless they are assigned committee roles and will earn points for both their role under the club and employment under the company. This volunteering system is also a good way for unemployed people to seek experience for work or training. There is the consideration to offer training systems under the club at a later stage, where if members pay for select courses, they can recoup that money and be rewarded points for completion of courses and offered certificates, which are then approved and given permits under the club systems and programs.
To prevent members from abusing the point system, only the club founder(s)/director(s) will be able to create or issue points to members, and cards can be issued to members to assist with earning points or trading them in for activities. Members won’t be able to trade points between each other or use them to buy things, only to recoup points for expenditure. There is an idea at this stage to allow club members to use a points rewards card inside the theme park or at any company businesses or partners/affiliates to earn points for purchases. This idea would need to be discussed further on how it could also link to gamers accounts. The idea of using points to buy things also needs to be thought about and discussed if this expands outside of the points shop system to various businesses under the company of any club affiliates.
Members will either be able to trade their points to an external points redemption system for real world items or they can trade them to attain a rank for themselves to earn prestige for themselves under the club. Currently ranks are similar to those used by the armed forces (Private to Colonel), 12 ranks will be created and within each level, 12 in each, 144 levels all up. General level ranks will only be available for committee members and founder/administrative/director staff.
Under the club, various social activities will be separated into guilds, run by guild and sub-guild leaders. Such club guilds could consist of model makers, home makers, car enthusiasts, sports fans, artists, crafters, horse riding, camping and outdoor activities, animal breeders etc. Guild leaders would also be for employees only, where sub-leaders would be open to anyone. This would be to ensure the guilds are maintained by employees as a social activity for them.
Inside the club there will be certain specialised guilds more specifically for the use of the company, for union representation officers, health and safety officers and compliance officers. Members of these guilds will only permitted to be employees of the company and under the club, will only be answerable to the directors/founders of the club, in order to create something of a barrier to company influence and engage objectivity and privacy for the officers and whom they support and work with. Union representation officers will assist in representing employees of the company in various issues. Health and safety officers will endeavour to deal with all health and safety related issues under the company and its businesses in reference to Fair work compliance and the Work health and safety Act. Compliance officers will assist both the club and the company, these officers will be certified in aspects of psychology, they will assist club members for any counselling related issues as well ensure that conduct within the club and the company is adhered to and maintain privacy for those they support. These positions at this stage will be voluntary and open to be provided points for their time. There is also the option of allowing any business and other affiliates registered under the club to utilise these services also.
Applicants for my Ambassador rewards program under my company will be given benefits under the club. Ambassadors will endeavour to have more prestige and perks, as well as the same rights and privileges that VIP members will have, some of which are noted above, they will be able to utilise the points system and trading points for points shop items, as well as earn ranks and permits under the club and be allowed other perks and benefits that will be unique to them and take part in any special events or test new products, services or experiences ahead of VIP members. At this stage I am open to input from ambassadors as to what perks they would like and will discuss that with them when donations are secured.
A three tiered conduct system will be in place to ensure compliance of members to the club rules, this system will also be used under the company. Members who continue to abuse the rules will face increasing issues and need to complete mandatory counselling in order to maintain membership, after three strikes, their membership will be exhausted and terminated.
