Sports Governance

Overview

In sport, we have long histories and traditions. Our desire to win and our emotional connection to the sport can sometimes override good governance practices.

Most of our grass roots sporting clubs are run by volunteers and their involvement is critical for the sustainability of many local sporting communities.

Increasingly, all sporting organisations are being held accountable for their governance. No longer is a sport’s success determined only by the on-field contest. The business of sport is competitive, technical and intense.

At Sports Governance we can work together with you to improve your organisation’s governance with personalised advice, education and support.

We are the first dedicated governance resource for sporting organisations of all levels. Let’s keep sport fun!
